A global service provider in the video game industry is seeking an experienced European Spanish Editor to ensure high-quality localization for various projects. The ideal candidate possesses native-level proficiency in European Spanish, strong editing and proofreading skills, and at least 3 years of experience in the localization industry. You will collaborate closely with translators and project managers to deliver accurate translations. This is a full-time, on-site position in Madrid.

Who we are looking for:

We are seeking a European Spanish Editor to join our team and ensure high-quality localization for various projects related to the video game industry.

As an editor, you will review and refine translations, ensuring they meet the linguistic and cultural standards expected by our clients. You will work closely with translators and project managers to deliver accurate and contextually appropriate translations that resonate with the target audience.

Requirements

Language Proficiency

• Fluent in both English and European Spanish (native-level proficiency in European Spanish)
• Strong editing and proofreading skills with a focus on linguistic accuracy
• At least 3 years of experience in translation and editing in the localization industry
• Familiarity with video game terminology and localization processes
• Experience with CAT tools and other translation software
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively
• Attention to detail and a passion for high-quality work
