The Opportunity

We are seeking an energetic, highly networked, and results-focused Sales Executive to lead our European division. This is a critical leadership role responsible for driving accelerated sales growth, market penetration, and overall operational excellence in the region. You will be instrumental in translating Seed-X\'s AI vision into commercial success. This involves developing a robust account-based strategy with major seed companies and scaling our channel sales network to meet ambitious growth targets. You will be expected to motivate and inspire your team to perform optimally and take sales in the region to the next level.

Key Responsibilities
  • Commercial Growth & Strategy: Market Expansion — Drive expansion in the European market by acquiring new customers and maximizing business opportunities within the existing customer base
  • Negotiation & Closing: Lead complex acquisition and licensing negotiations
  • Strategic Partnerships: Develop and maintain a strong professional network and establish strategic partnerships that support the growth strategy
  • Technical Sales: Support customers in complex technical and commercial matters, acting as the expert on Seed-X AI solutions
  • Strategy Implementation: Create, develop, and implement regional sales, business development, and marketing strategies aimed at growth
  • Market Insight: Actively monitor trends and new developments in the region to inform strategy
  • Customer Care: Perform active customer care and key account management of selected customers, ensuring long-lasting and long-term relationships
  • Representation: Participate in marketing events such as shows and congresses, including attending speaking opportunities
Leadership & Operations
  • Organizational Management: Provide overall management of the sales organization and manage a team responsible for operation, service, and support in the region
  • Process Optimization: Optimize the organization, structures, and processes of the sales department to build a scalable team and ensure a high level of service
  • Forecasting & Reporting: Ensure accurate and detailed planning, forecasting, and budgeting. Regularly monitor key figures (e.g., turnover figures, sales targets) and provide detailed reporting to management, deriving appropriate corrective measures
Required Profile & Experience
  • Experience: 8+ years of relevant senior sales and leadership experience within the grain/seed industry
  • Technical Acumen: Deep knowledge of seed-growers\' needs and a proven familiarity with sales of agricultural machinery and/or cutting-edge technologies
  • Leadership: Strong managerial skills with experience in team management and leading teams of 10 employees
  • Impact: Exceptional sales and negotiating skills with a track record of increasing revenue and the ability to develop and implement vision and strategy
  • Communication: Confident appearance coupled with enthusiasm, strong communication skills, and team spirit
  • Mindset: High service orientation, distinct problem and conflict-solving potential, good analytical skills, and a self-starter mentality
  • Languages: Fluent English is mandatory; proficiency in other European languages is a strong advantage
