Responsibilities:

1. Responsible for the workflow in the assigned service area and related administrative work, in close cooperation with the supervisors.
2. Create a warm and inviting environment for our guests.
3. Be knowledgeable about all menu items and accurately take and enter guest orders into the system, ensuring a comfortable and genuine experience for the guest.
4. Have professional knowledge of food and beverage preparation, service standards, guest relations and etiquette, as well as appropriate table layout, service utensils, and menu items.
5. Provide attentive and individualized service to meet the immediate satisfaction of guest requests.
6. Set up, clean, and serve tables promptly after use to ensure that guests can be seated on time.
7. Clean, organize, and maintain the designated service station and prepare a mise en place to ensure that the station is ready when needed.
8. Have complete knowledge of all menus presented to guests to answer questions about ingredients.
9. Responsible for the cleanliness, maintenance, and upkeep of all equipment and ship property used to complete assigned tasks.
10. Prevent breakage and loss of all equipment and use only authorized chemicals in an approved manner.
11. Show respect for co-workers and cooperate with all management decisions.
12. Attend ship and departmental meetings as required.
13. Maintain a professional appearance to meet the Grooming Standards.
14. Participate in tasting food and beverages and attend all scheduled training and menu briefings.
15. Handle guest complaints in a friendly and efficient manner, ensuring guest satisfaction and reporting complaints and comments to management.
16. Actively implement the philosophy behind the product.
17. Knowledge of the assigned security roll number (from the ship's articles) and the assigned duties in case of an emergency.
