Role Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated and dynamic Territory Account Manager to spearhead our sales efforts across Germany & Austria. This is a newly created role, central to our strategic initiative to expand our market share and strengthen brand presence in a competitive landscape.
As an experienced sales account manager, you will be responsible for driving sales growth, building strong distributor, OEM and end user customer relationships; enhancing our commercial proposition across the region.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a regional sales strategy in alignment with F-DGSi’s global growth objectives.
- Actively hunt for new gas generator sales opportunities in LC / MS and GC / MS sectors; proactively expanding F-DGSi’s footprint in Germany & Austria.
- Nurture existing distributor, OEM partnerships and key accounts throughout the region.
- Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline, focusing on conversion and sustained customer account engagement.
- Conduct market analysis to identify new opportunities, competitive dynamics and unmet customer needs.
- Support and deliver product presentations, demonstrations and commercial proposals.
- Collaborate closely with internal teams (Operations, Marketing, Service, Technical Support and Product Development) to deliver customer-focused solutions.
- Provide timely and accurate forecasting, sales reporting and territory insights.
- Diligent management and utalisation of CRM for all sales and account activities.
- Represent F-DGSi at regional trade shows, conferences and customer visits.
Requirements
- Proven experience in technical sales or business development; ideally in laboratory equipment, analytical instruments or gas generation systems.
- Educated to degree level in Chemistry or a related subject area.
- Good knowledge of LC / MS and GC / MS applications.
- Demonstrated success working in a direct sales market and delivering regional growth.
- Self-starter mindset with excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Willingness to travel extensively within territory (40%).
- Fluency in German is required. Proficiency in English is essential.
- Located in Germany.
