QNX is a trusted supplier of safe and secure operating systems, hypervisors, frameworks and development tools, and provides expert support and services for building the world’s most critical embedded systems. The company’s technology is trusted in 255 million vehicles and is deployed in embedded systems around the world, across a range of industries including automotive, medical devices, industrial controls, transportation, heavy machinery and robotics.

QNX software and development tools are standards-based and enable companies to adopt a scalable software platform strategy across product lines and business units. The QNX software portfolio, including our safety pre-certified product versions, is purpose built for embedded systems and scales to support everything from single-purpose devices to highly complex, mixed-criticality platforms.

Position Summary:

As a Business Development Representative (BDR), you will be joining the QNX Sales team to help drive pipeline growth and expand market presence. We are looking for a proactive, resilient BDR who is passionate about building relationships, understands the embedded software space, and thrives in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with strong communication skills and a knack for identifying and qualifying new business opportunities.

In this role, you will:

  • Conduct tailored, strategic and multi-channeled outbound prospecting activities (calls, emails, events, social media) to generate high quality leads and set up meetings for the sales team.
  • Qualify inbound leads and inquiries through BANT assessment to determine fit and potential.
  • Collaborate closely with sales and marketing teams to identify potential customers, and develop strategies based on gathered intelligence for targeted lead generation campaigns and programs.
  • Track and manage outreach and pipeline data within the CRM system, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information.
  • Assist in nurturing relationships with potential clients, providing them with information about Blackberry QNX offerings.
  • Meet and exceed monthly and quarterly quotas for lead generation and qualified meetings.
  • Build strong relationships and collaborate effectively with the Regional Sales Managers you support.

You will have:

  • Proven experience in new business development, sales, or lead generation, preferably in the technology or B2B space.
  • A track record of consistent sales quota achievement & ideally over-achievement.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to engage prospects and build rapport quickly.
  • Proficiency in using CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) to manage leads and pipeline.
  • Highly organized with strong time management skills and the ability to multitask effectively.
  • Demonstrated resilience and persistence in achieving sales goals.
  • Ability to adapt quickly and work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is preferred but not required.
  • Spoken and Written Fluency in English and German required; spoken and written fluency in French, Spanish or Italian a plus.
