As Senior Accountant (d/f/m) you will support RWE's offshore wind business in Germany. With your broad-based knowledge you will contribute to the successful commercial management of the projects and thus make an important contribution to our growth strategy as well as to the success of our company.

Your future plans

• You prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements according to HGB and IFRS in an independent and responsible way
• Moreover, you implement all reporting requirements of the group accounting system in a timely and appropriate manner
• Your responsibilities also include the accounting, valuation and posting of comprehensive business transactions
• You take over the sub-project management of special accounting projects
• Quality assurance is not just a word for you, it is highly relevant. Therefore, you would like to drive forward the implementation and further development of corresponding internal guidelines
• The preparation and implementation of internal trainings are also part of your job
• You act as a contact person for group accounting, auditing and other relevant stakeholders such as controlling and tax

Your profile

• You have successfully completed your university degree in business administration or economics, ideally supplemented by further training in balance sheet accounting
• Furthermore, you have several years of relevant professional experience, especially with regard to individual financial statements
• Your knowledge of accounting regulations according to HGB and IFRS can be described as very good
• In addition, you have a sound knowledge of SAP FI/CO and GTC, supplemented by SAP S4/HANA knowledge. This does not mean that you already have to be on the level of a key user
• Your way of working is structured, solution- and goal-oriented. You are willing to familiarise yourself with new tasks
• What else makes you stand out? You enjoy your work, are a team player, reliable and have excellent communication skills
• Your skills concerning MS Office, especially Excel and Power Point, are proficient
• You enjoy using your fluent German and good English in your daily work, both written and spoken. In general, you feel comfortable in an international environment and appreciate it
