We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineering Manager to lead and develop a high-performing engineering team at a major conventional power plant near Frankfurt. In this key leadership role, you will be responsible for overseeing all electrical systems, with a strong focus on high-voltage infrastructure (up to 400 kV), operational reliability, and regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, mentor, and coordinate a multidisciplinary electrical engineering team.
- Ensure safe, reliable, and efficient operation of all electrical systems, including HV substations and grid interfaces.
- Manage maintenance planning, system upgrades, and technical troubleshooting.
- Coordinate with operations, maintenance, and external stakeholders to align on plant performance and engineering goals.
- Oversee compliance with safety regulations, grid codes, and technical standards.
- Drive continuous improvement in system performance and team capability.
Your Profile:
- Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
- 10+ years of experience in power generation or transmission, including high-voltage (110–400 kV) systems.
- Proven leadership experience managing large engineering teams.
- Strong knowledge of German and European grid regulations.
