Major Roles & Responsibilities

• Patient Preparation & Care
  Prepare patients for X-ray & MRI and imaging procedures by explaining the process.
  Position patients correctly to obtain accurate diagnostic images.
  Ensure patient comfort and safety throughout the procedure.
• Equipment Operation
  Operate X-ray machines and other radiographic equipment efficiently.
  Select proper exposure settings to produce high-quality diagnostic images.
• Radiation Safety
  Follow safety protocols to minimize radiation exposure for patients and staff.
  Use protective gear such as lead aprons and shields during procedures.
• Image Capture & Quality Control
  Capture clear, accurate, and high-quality radiographic images for physician review.
  Ensure images meet diagnostic standards and retake if necessary.
• Collaboration with Physicians & Medical Team
  Work closely with radiologists and doctors by providing accurate imaging results.
  Assist physicians in interpreting and analyzing imaging results when required.
• Record Keeping & Documentation
  Maintain accurate records of patient imaging history and procedures performed.
  Update digital imaging systems and ensure confidentiality of patient data.
• Equipment Maintenance & Troubleshooting
  Perform routine checks and maintenance of X-ray equipment.
  Report malfunctions and coordinate timely servicing of machines.
• Emergency & Special Procedures Support
  Assist in emergency diagnostic imaging for trauma or critically ill patients.
  Support specialized imaging procedures as directed by the physician.
• Compliance & Quality Standards
  Adhere to hospital policies, medical standards, and legal regulations.
  Follow infection control practices and workplace safety protocols.
