IAV promises its customers to deliver technical solutions of the highest quality in line with existing binding environmental obligations. Central environmental and energy management defines the relevant corporate standards and monitors compliance with them. In order to ensure the further development of the environmental management system with regard to increasing environmental requirements and company growth as well as the maintenance of the energy management system, we need student employees (m / f / d) to support the specialists and managers in organizing their business processes in the area of environment and energy, starting on July 1 2025 at the earliest, for 20 hours per week. To ensure optimal collaboration, one day of presence per week is planned at our location in Stollberg.

Your Tasks

We offer you an interesting and varied student position. You will work at eye level in our central environmental and energy team and gain practical experience in environmental and energy management with the following main tasks:

• Various activities to maintain and further develop IAV's environmental management and energy management in accordance with ISO 14001 and ISO 50001
• Collecting, documenting and evaluating environmental and energy indicators and documenting environmental activities (audits, measures, etc.) in the QUENTIC system
• Communication with interested parties within the company and preparation of information in the form of newsboard messages
• Development of training documents
• Supporting safety officers and occupational safety specialists in carrying out their activities in the areas of environment and energy

Necessary Skills

• Ongoing university studies related to environmental protection, environmental law, environmental management, energy management, sustainability or comparable courses of study
• MS Office skills (especially Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
• Independent working style and high affinity for environmental and energy topics
• Strong analytical and networked thinking skills
• High level of commitment and dedication
• Very good communication skills
• Good to very good written and spoken German and English (at least B2 level)

Remuneration is based on our collective wage and salary agreement. The current hourly wage for this position is EUR 17.52.
