About the Role

As a Working Student in Customer Success, you will play a crucial role in supporting our European Success team, with a strong focus on the growth of our German market. You’ll work directly with our customers, universities, employers, and students - helping them succeed with the Handshake platform. This role is hands-on: you’ll be joining us during our busiest season (Back to School), so we’re looking for someone who thrives in fast-paced environments, learns quickly, and takes ownership of tasks with confidence.

Your work will directly contribute to delivering an exceptional experience for our partners and strengthening Handshake’s presence in Germany.

Key Responsibilities
Customer Support
  • Act as a first point of contact for German- and English-speaking partners, resolving inquiries from universities, employers, and students

  • Troubleshoot technical questions and data health issues, ensuring quick and accurate solutions

  • Proactively drive adoption and usage of Handshake features to create measurable value for partners

  • Support live events and career fairs, managing queries and prioritising based on urgency

  • Host Zoom sessions to resolve issues in real time.

  • Deliver webinars and training sessions to educate partners on Handshake functionality.

Customer Engagement
  • Support onboarding of new partners, ensuring they understand and adopt Handshake effectively.

  • Build strong relationships with customers by responding empathetically and with attention to detail.

Project Assistance
  • Contribute to customer success initiatives, including the creation of training resources, FAQs, and educational content.

  • Support translation and review of marketing and customer-facing materials for the German market.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams across Europe and the US to deliver projects on time.

Process Improvement
  • Identify opportunities to streamline support processes and improve efficiency.

  • Share insights from customer interactions to help refine internal workflows and partner experiences.
