Position

• Technical Manager based in Koblenz, Germany, supporting train operations at Trans Regio.

Since 1998, Transdev in Germany has been the leading private rail passenger operator, revitalizing regions by deploying services tailored to passenger needs. We operate 20 Operation & Maintenance contracts, totaling 55 million train km for 118 million passengers annually. Our fleet comprises 472 trainsets.

Responsibilities

• Monitoring and planning maintenance and repairs.
• Supporting problem-solving efforts, mainly in a background/support role.
• Focusing on administrative tasks rather than hands-on work.
• Ensuring compliance with safety rules and procedures.
• Providing operational support by acting as a backup for team leaders on technical issues and assisting with daily technical matters.

Required Education and Experience

• Master’s degree, preferably in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or Transport Economics.
• Experience with machinery or technical equipment.

Skills

• Good hands-on and problem-solving skills.
• Basic knowledge of mechanical systems.

Language

• German C1 level required.

• Start date: 01/10/2025 (flexible).
• Mission duration: 12 months (renewable).
