What you will do

As a Value Engineer you will work hands‑on with international top‑tier manufacturing companies on their digital transformation journey. You will be a key driver in bringing IQA and the latest technologies into real‑world operations – delivering measurable improvements in efficiency and sustainability for our customers.

You will own the end‑to‑end customer journey for our AI‑driven IQA Lean Copilot – combining engineering skills with business mindset. At ONIQ the Value Engineer role sits between customers, Sales, Product and Marketing – grounded in deep manufacturing process know‑how and a strong technical mindset. You will work across teams to maximize customer impact with IQA and play a key part in ONIQ’s overall success. You will:

  • Guide our clients throughout the entire customer value journey with IQA – from the first software demo through the pilot phase to the final roll‑out
  • Become a trusted advisor to our customers supporting them in rolling out IQA across the organization and using it to improve production processes and achieve measurable results
  • Use your know‑how of production processes and your understanding of the customers pain points to identify how IQA can become a major value driver for the customer
  • Develop a thorough understanding of the customers manufacturing data and develop reliable and efficient data processing workflows to ensure correct and continuous data ingestion into IQA
  • Build a strong and trusted relationship with our customers
  • Promote IQA by showcasing the software at customer meetings or industry events
  • Contribute to ONIQ’s product strategy by bringing in client feedback and ensuring the software stays aligned with customer needs
What we expect from you
  • Strong relationship‑building skills, outgoing and communicative personality

  • Ability to understand the most pressing customer issues in production and to present our matching solutions
  • Strong customer focus to achieve the best results both for the customer and ONIQ
  • Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering & Management or related field
  • Preferably some experience working in production management, lean manufacturing, operational excellence or similar
  • Excellent language skills (English and German C1 or higher)
  • Willingness to travel internationally for customer meetings or industry events (approximately 3–4 on‑site meetings per month)
  • We love the energy that comes from working together in person, so spending time at our Cologne or Berlin office matters to us. One on‑site day per week is the minimum and more time together is always welcome whenever it works for you
