Overview
Who we are: We are looking for an Unreal Generalist (all genders) with a versatile skill set and deep technical expertise in Unreal Engine to join our expanding visualization team. You are comfortable wearing multiple hats - from environment building to lighting and lookdev - and thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
With a strong foundation and deep knowledge in Unreal Engine, you have experience delivering high-end visuals and are comfortable working across disciplines such as shading, layout, lighting, animation, and post-processing. A structured mindset, creative flexibility, and a passion for quality are essential.
What you can expect
- Work across departments to deliver high-quality stills and cinematic content in Unreal Engine for top-tier clients.
- Serve as the Unreal Engine expert on the team, helping guide and support others with technical and creative challenges.
- Handle a wide range of production tasks, including lighting, shading, asset integration, blueprint work, animation, and post effects.
- Take ownership of scenes from initial layout to final rendering, ensuring both visual excellence and technical performance.
- Collaborate with the art and development teams to optimize workflows and support continuous improvement of our pipeline.
- Proactively mentor and support junior team members in Unreal Engine best practices.
What we expect from you
- Minimum 3 years of production experience, ideally in visualization, using Unreal Engine.
- Proven experience across multiple areas such as environment design, lighting, shading, blueprint setup, and cinematics.
- Strong technical knowledge of visualization workflows, scene optimization, and performance profiling in Unreal.
- Proficient with 3D DCC tools (e.g., Maya, Blender, 3ds Max)
- Experienced in scene assembly, asset integration, and level design.
- Highly independent, structured, and capable of owning complex pipelines and scenes.
- Strong problem-solving skills and adaptability in a fast-changing production environment.
- Excellent English communication skills (written and spoken).
Desirable Skills
- Familiarity with Niagara VFX
- Understanding of version control systems (e.g., Git, Perforce).
- Knowledge of tools like Substance Painter/Designer, Photoshop, After Effects.
- Passion for automotive, architectural, or product visualizations.
- Experience with Python scripting or other pipeline development tools.
