Responsibilities
- Structure of the test automation
- Automation of GUI and CLI‑based test cases
- Creation of test specifications and test cases on the basis of technical requirement specifications
- Creation and implementation of software and system tests
- Evaluation, analysis and documentation of test results
- Close cooperation with the development teams
Qualifications
- Completed university degree in computer science, electrical engineering or comparable experience in the IT environment
- Good knowledge of software testing
- Experience with Windows and Linux operating systems
- Sound knowledge in the field of automatic testing of Windows‑based GUI
- Good knowledge of programming with scripting languages
- Good written and spoken German and English skills
- Ability to work in a team, initiative and interest in personal growth
Nice‑to‑have (but not a must‑have)
- Professional experience (ideally in telco, ISP or other networked technologies)
- Programming with scripting languages (Python / Bash / Groovy / PowerShell / SQL)
- Use of DevOps tools such as Jenkins, Git, Grafana and GUI automation tools
- Experience with virtualization software (VMware / Proxmox / VirtualBox)
- Dealing with bug tracking and test case management systems
- Certification according to ISTQB Foundation Level or comparable
