The job can be performed 30% remotely 3 days in the office ( Hamburg) / 2 days as home office

JOB PURPOSE

The Team leader Finance is responsible for all aspects of Finance and Controlling activities at Topcon Deutschland Positioning GmbH including financial administration payroll processing tax declarations cashflow management (statutory) reporting and internal controls.

The Team leader Finance ensures all financial aspects of the company are correct complete and processed on a timely and efficient matter while simultaneously ensuring quality of data and compliance.

Additionally the Team leader Finance is part of the EU Finance team and actively participates and supports improvement projects including group reporting & analysis optimization of processes digitalization and automation. Within this role the Teamleader Finance maintains excellent relationships with both external and internal stakeholders being an important link in communication with our foreign offices.

CORE JOB DUTIES

Lead the Finance department and oversee all administrative operations and financial processes covering areas such as :

  • Procure to Pay (P2P)
  • Order to Cash (O2C)
  • Payroll
  • Record to Report (R2R)
  • Asset & Lease Management
  • Inventory & Credit Management
  • Treasury & Tax Declarations
  • Insurance Handling
  • This includes acting as key user for financial systems (e.g. SAP Concur) ensuring proper use maintenance and change management.
  • Manage monthly quarterly and annual financial reporting processes.
  • Provide financial insights and support EU Group Finance with analysis of defined GL accounts.
  • Advice both proactively and reactively to EU Group Finance and / or (departments) management in financial administration related questions and challenges.
  • Coordinate and support all audit activities (internal and external) including the preparation of the Annual Statutory Report in compliance with legal and corporate standards.
  • Drives / supports projects to improve group reporting and analytics processes and pro-actively initiates opportunities of improvement both local and with EU Finance team.

MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS

Education & Experience :

  • Relevant financial education.
  • 5-8 years relevant working experience .
  • Experience in ERP systems preferably SAP solutions (S4Hanna Concur) and automation (AI Power BI) tools.
  • Experience working in an international (multicultural) setting would be an advantage.

Knowledge Skills and Attributes :

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills both in the German and English.
  • Solid knowledge of German GAAP (HGB) and ideally base knowledge IFRS.
  • Experience with administrative processes (order-to-cash purchase-to-pay hire to retire record-to-report).
  • Demonstrated proficiency with MS Office strong expertise in Excel.
  • Ability to coordinate with other departments and related parties.
