Since 2005, VEJA has been creating sneakers in a different way, mixing social projects, economic justice, and ecological materials.
VEJA uses Brazilian and Peruvian organic cotton for the canvas and laces, Amazonian rubber for the soles, and various innovative materials conceived in recycled plastic bottles or recycled polyester.
VEJA sneakers are produced in high-standard factories in Brazil. Part of VEJA’s logistics is managed by Log’ins, a professional and social inclusion company.
As Store Manager, you will be responsible for the performance and image of our store.
- You will lead your team, optimize the customer experience, and grow sales in line with VEJA's values.
Team Management
- Integrate and train a high-performing team aligned with VEJA's values.
- Support and motivate team members to achieve both individual and group goals.
- Foster a positive work environment and encourage skill development and internal growth.
- Organize the work schedule and ensure fair task distribution within the team.
Activity Management
- Monitor performance indicators (sales, average basket size, conversion rate, etc.) and implement corrective actions.
- Analyze and optimize store results.
- Develop local commercial strategies to boost activity and build customer loyalty.
- Create regular reports and propose ideas to improve store profitability.
Stock Management
- Ensure optimal stock management to maintain product availability.
- Oversee restocking, delivery control, and tidy storage areas.
- Collaborate with logistics teams to anticipate needs and avoid stockouts.
- Apply procedures for handling unsold and returned products.
Customer Experience
- Provide a warm welcome and personalized service to each customer.
- Train the team in sales techniques and in conveying VEJA's values.
- Identify customer expectations and implement actions to enhance satisfaction.
Brand Consistency & Image
- Ensure the store is well-maintained and follows VEJA's merchandising guidelines.
- Create an attractive sales environment aligned with VEJA's mission.
- Understand the VEJA project and its commitments, and communicate them to the team and customers.
Communication
- Communicate regularly with head office to ensure smooth information flow.
- Report customer feedback and expectations to contribute to product and commercial development.
- Participate in discussions with other stores and head office to share best practices and ensure a consistent VEJA experience.
Profile
- Experience in retail and team management required.
- You are meticulous and enjoy customer interaction.
- You are curious and passionate about fashion and transparently sourced brands.
- You are versatile, organized, motivated, methodical, and professional.
- Fluency in English is required.
