Job summary

MEININGER Hotels Berlin Mitte Humboldthaus is seeking a Service Staff/Working Student to support breakfast service. You will set up and dismantle the buffet, ensure steady availability of appealing food and drinks, and greet guests with a warm welcome and helpful recommendations.

You will prepare simple cold dishes, advise on ingredients, maintain cleanliness, monitor stock, and assist with orders and deliveries. Fluency in English is essential; other languages are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Set up and remove the buffet and ensure constant availability of food and beverages for guests.
• Prepare simple cold dishes (cheese/sausage boards, salads) and drinks and advise guests on ingredients.
• Act as a host welcoming guests to breakfast and inform them about specials and F&B offers.
• Maintain the cleanliness of your workstation according to guidelines and standards.
• Monitor stock, place orders for food and consumables, and check deliveries.
