Job summary

MEININGER Hotels Berlin Alexanderplatz is looking for a people person who loves hosting guests. You will welcome guests, manage check-ins and check-outs, and ensure a smooth arrival and departure experience.

You will respond to guest inquiries, suggest local attractions, handle routine admin tasks, and occasionally assist in F&B. A lively, diverse team and flexible shifts are part of our dynamic hotel environment.

Qualifications

• Previous hotel or HORECA experience preferred.
• Outgoing personality and ability to thrive in a busy environment.
• Fluent in German and English; other languages are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Act as a great host and create memorable stays for guests.
• Manage check-ins and check-outs from start to finish to optimize occupancy.
• Respond to guests' inquiries and advise on local attractions and services.
• Handle invoicing, hour registration, online reputation management, and quality checks.
• Work in a team and assist with occasional tasks in F&B (breakfast, dinner, bar).
• Be flexible to work weekdays, weekends, day-, evening- and night shifts.

YOUR TASKS

• You act as a great host and create a memorable stay for our guests
• You are in charge of the welcome and goodbye process from A to Z, managing check-ins and check-outs to create best experience for our guests and optimize hotel occupancy
• You respond to our guests' personal and phone inquiries and provide advice regarding local attractions, activities and additional services
• You take care of operational and administrative tasks: invoicing, hour registration, online reputation management, quality checks etc.
• You work in a team and are ready to take on occasional tasks in the F&B area (breakfast, dinner, bar)
• You enjoy a diverse working environment and are flexible to work weekdays, weekends, day-, evening- and night shifts

YOUR PROFILE

• You have your first working experience in the hotel, or you are passionate about HORECA industries
• You possess an outgoing personality and enjoy working in a bustling dynamic environment, performing a variety of tasks
• You are a people person, you like helping others and creating an unforgettable experience for our guests
• You are a team player, ready to help your colleagues and tackle challenges together
• You speak German and English fluently (solid A2-B1 level min.), any other languages are an advantage
