Job summary

MEININGER Hotel Berlin Mitte is seeking Service Staff (f/m/d) for part-time or working student work. You will serve breakfast, help guests, and support F&B operations in a friendly, guest-focused environment.

The role requires teamwork, reliability, and fluency in English. Prior hospitality experience is a plus, and a willingness to work various shifts, including weekends, is expected.

Qualifications

• Enjoy interacting with guests and providing friendly service.
• Able to work efficiently in a fast-paced hospitality environment.
• Experience in hospitality or service is advantageous.
• Fluent English; additional languages are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Set up and remove buffet, ensure constant availability of food and beverages.
• Prepare simple cold dishes and drinks; advise guests on ingredients.
• Welcome guests at breakfast and inform about offers and F&B.
• Maintain workstation cleanliness per guidelines and standards.
• Monitor stock, place orders, and check deliveries.
• Flexible to work weekdays, weekends, and various shifts.

YOUR TASKS

• You are responsible for setting up and removing the buffet and ensuring constant availability of sufficient quantity and varied selection of appealingly presented food and beverages to the guests
• You prepare simple cold dishes (cheese/sausage platters, salads, etc.) & drinks and advise guests on their composition & ingredients
• You act as a host welcoming guests to breakfast, informing them about special offers and F&B offering
• You maintain the cleanliness of your workstation in line with prescribed guidelines and company standards
• You monitor the stock, place orders of food and consumables, and check deliveries
• You enjoy a diverse working environment and are flexible to work weekdays, weekends, early morning, afternoon, and evening shifts

YOUR PROFILE

• You enjoy interacting with guests
• You are a team player and happy to help your colleagues out
• You work efficiently and in a well-structured way
• Ideally, you already have experience in hospitality or service
• You are fluent in English, any additional language is an advantage
