Position available immediately at our Headquarters in Idstein.

Responsibilities
  • Responsible for the controlling of the wholesale area, including revenue, cost, and personnel cost controlling with a focus on strategic and operational steering of financial performance.
  • Develop and refine reporting structures and controlling systems, modeling complex controlling logics in Excel, BI systems, and ERP.
  • Coordinate the planning process independently, including annual budgeting, forecast creation, and long‑term business case development in close coordination with Finance and management.
  • Consolidate and analyse financial data from various business areas; derive relevant recommendations and decision templates.
  • Steer the monthly performance review, comment on plan‑vs‑actual deviations, and identify improvement potentials.
  • Advisory to managers and budget owners, especially regarding investment decisions, cost optimisation, and capacity planning.
  • Further develop and standardise financial processes and controlling instruments across channels.
  • Lead and coordinate cross‑functional projects to optimise forecast, budget, and reporting processes.
  • Ensure compliance with internal controlling policies and external reporting requirements and regulatory obligations.
  • Create system‑supported, cross‑channel reports and analyses for informed decision support.
  • Support forecasting, budgeting, and reporting within the company‑wide planning process.
  • Independently assume and participate in projects for continuous process optimization and operational efficiency improvement.
  • Contribute to transformation projects and support transition processes.
  • Controlling tasks for monthly, quarterly, and annual closing of the wholesale area.
  • Validate purchase requests for wholesale.
  • Oversee financial steering, transparency, and strategic planning of the wholesale area.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in finance/accounting or a comparable field.
  • 5–7 years of controlling experience, preferably in international retail or FMCG.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including Power Query; VBA knowledge is a plus.
  • Experience in project management.
  • Strong analytical skills and entrepreneurial mindset.
  • Ability to develop and maintain complex financial models and extract key insights.
  • Experience with SAP is advantageous.
  • Detail‑oriented, analytical, and strategic thinking.
  • Accountability, pro‑activity, and adherence to deadlines.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Independent decision‑making or escalation when necessary.
