(Senior) UX Designer – Intelligent Cockpit (m/f/d)

We are seeking a skilled and experienced candidate in UXUI Team for automotive intelligent cockpit domain, defining and advancing user experiences for the HMI system, enhancing product competitiveness.

The ideal candidate will lead a user-centered design process, to identify design opportunities via user insights, competitor and trend research, defining system interaction models, user task flows and propose creative design concepts and UI definitions. Your will be part of our collaborative and agile team in Munich and also collaborate with designers, researchers, developers from headquarters. Together, we will shape the next generation operation system of Automotive Intelligent Cockpit.

Your mission

• To discover and define design opportunities in HMI system, through research findings including user insights, UXUI design trends, technology trends and competitor analysis.

• To propose and deliver creative UXUI concepts according to needs and design strategy, from low-fidelity to high-fidelity phases, including high-level screen system interaction models, detailed user flows, wireframes, UI mock-ups, interactive demos.

• To present key findings, definitions, design strategy, design concepts in a logical but holistic approach.

• To convert technical frameworks into implementable user experience and enhancing interface usability.

• To collaborate with the UX organization and product R&D teams in HQ.

Your areas of expertise

• Master’s or higher degree in UXUI design, HMI design, product design, industrial design, multimedia design or other equivalent design disciplines or experience.

• At least 3 years UXUI design experience of in-car screen or mobile operation system.

• A strong portfolio demonstrating proven UX and UI design on real products or pre-development programs.

• Proficiency in UXUI design tools e.g. Figma, video prototyping tools e.g. AE, and/or interactive demo tools e.g. ProtoPie, and PowerPoint.

• Experience of AI tools for design creation or process is preferred.

• Problem-solving oriented and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

• Good presentation and documentation skills.

• Enthusiastic to work as part of our international team and fluent communication skills in English, Mandarin is an advantage.

• Experience in building interactive demo and user-testing is preferred.

• Willing to travel to China for business trips.
