Your responsibilities
The (Senior) Manager Strategy should be able to develop global & regional strategies, monitor markets and accompany thyssenkrupp nucera in achieving the desired strategic positioning:
- Develop & review thyssenkrupp nucera's global gH2 and Chlor Alkali strategy.
- Leading strategic projects (independently) incl. joint content development with internal & ext. experts.
- Monitor market trends, develop a long‑term market outlook and continuously align with the relevant departments to acquire a clear picture of thyssenkrupp nucera's position within the market.
- Analyzing strategic moves incl. business case development to support the decision‑making process, providing recommendations to thyssenkrupp nucera's top management.
- Development of regional go‑2‑market strategies jointly with thyssenkrupp nucera's local business teams (worldwide).
- Development of functional strategies (e.g. supply chain strategy) jointly with thyssenkrupp nucera's functional managers.
- Support in identifying & establishing relationships with strategic partners and potential cooperation partners.
- Putting strategy into action: Setting up initial strategic measures, strategic planning based on global strategy (e.g. revenues, CapEx, etc.).
- Planning, organising and moderating strategy workshops.
Besides that, the (Senior) Manager Strategy should be able to contribute to external communication (e.g. equity story / capital market presentations) and understand the interface to the M&A practice.
Your profile
Pro knowledge and professional experience in developing strategies,
- Several years of relevant experience preferably in (strategy) consulting, a strategy or similar function within an international setting.
- Ideally professional experience in the gH2 business or gH2‑related areas, such as (green) energy markets.
- Strategic thinking ability and above‑average, solution‑oriented and entrepreneurial mindset.
- Analytical skillset.
- Precise, structured & methodology‑based way of working.
- Strong team spirit intercultural awareness to leverage the cultural differences of our global organization.
- Very good communication and presentation skills in German and English, further foreign language skills are an advantage.
- High level of dedication & commitment to shape the green transition.
- High proficiency in MS office (especially PowerPoint and xlsx).
