Responsibilities

• Build and operate core payment & ledger services using AWS Lambda, DynamoDB and ECS. Implement event‑driven, double‑entry accounting services that record every financial movement (charges, refunds, payouts, fees) with audit‑grade accuracy.

• Architect systems with consistent accuracy and low latency. Ensure high observability, idempotency and automated testing across the stack.

• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams in product, finance, accounting and risk to translate complex regulatory, tax and accounting requirements into resilient systems.

• Own the full engineering lifecycle from design to deployment and monitoring. Drive high code quality through code reviews, automated testing and infrastructure‑as‑code.

• Mentor and influence: share payment‑system expertise with peers, set engineering best practices and foster a culture that values customer focus, open communication, ownership, passion for craft and integrity.
