We are looking for a Solutions Architect (ProServ) to join our world-class Customer Experience (CX) team. Solutions Architects at Grafana Labs provide customers with specialized business and technical consultation, guiding them to achieve their objectives using Grafana.

Our Solutions Architects need to be hands-on keyboard. You should understand the ecosystem of services used by our customers and work with them to ensure success with Grafana. This includes understanding why Kubernetes is popular, its relation to Prometheus, differences between logs and metrics, pets vs. cattle, and more.

You will manage the lifecycle of customer onboarding and adoption, delivering training, quick-starts, session cataloging, project and roadmap assurance, and specialized consulting for high-priority customers with complex requirements. This includes providing hands-on support virtually or on-site, and managing ongoing support to ensure continued value from our products.

Success in this role requires a passion for hands-on work, command-line proficiency, customer engagement, project management, and technical delivery. Basic project management skills are also necessary to monitor customer initiatives.

What you'll be doing:

• Engaging effectively with customers, including business executives, project managers, and IT staff.
• Understanding business needs and translating them into technical requirements.
• Designing solutions involving data visualization, workflows, migrations, and enterprise architecture.
• Leading functional workshops, documenting requirements, and designing solutions.
• Working swiftly to accelerate solution delivery.
• Adhering to standards and best practices.
• Staying current on Grafana Labs, observability, and related technologies.
• Collaborating with Sales, Product Management, Engineering, Support, and Professional Services teams to drive innovation.
• Enjoying working with leading-edge technologies and helping customers succeed.

What you'll bring:

• 5+ years of experience in deployment teams using project management techniques.
• Experience with observability (o11y) tools and practices, preferably with Grafana products.
• Proven success in delivering enterprise observability projects.
• Self-motivated, eager to learn new skills and technologies.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Vision to help grow the company.
• Experience with Linux and Windows Server administration.
• Knowledge of Kubernetes (kubectl, Helm, Tanka).
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).
• Systems architecture design skills.
• Software engineering skills or ability to read code (GoLang, JS, TypeScript).

In Germany, the base salary range for this role is €104,000 - €125,000. Actual compensation varies based on experience and skills. Benefits include equity, bonus, and other listed benefits. Compensation ranges are country-specific; recruiters will discuss specific pay ranges for different locations.
