1. Depth.We’re expanding from accounting into AI-powered workflows, ticketing, communication, and owner management - rebuilding core processes from the ground up.
2. Breadth.Property management touches many verticals. New product areas (brokerage, banking, maintenance, insurance) offer greenfield opportunities where you can take the lead.
3. Global.Germany is only the starting point. Once we dominate this market, we plan to expand across Europe - and ultimately enter the US with a category-defining product.

What we're looking for

• 2+ years experience building and shipping production-ready web applications
• Strong skills in TypeScript, React, and Node.js (or comparable modern JS stacks)
• Ability to own features end-to-end - from idea to implementation to production
• Solid understanding of modern web architecture (APIs, state management, data flows)
• High ownership and autonomy - you can make decisions and ship without hand-holding

Application Process

1. Intro Call - A short conversation with Christian, our Head of People, to understand your background and see if there’s a mutual fit with Buena.
2. Technical Interview - A deep dive into your experience, past projects, and engineering approach with Magid, our Engineering Manager.
3. Case Study - After a successful technical interview, you’ll receive a short take-home case to showcase your problem-solving, engineering thinking, and communication.
4. Paid Work Trial (1 day to 1 week) - If the case study is successful, you’ll join us for a scoped, real-life problem to see how we work together. All work trial days are fully compensated.
5. Founder Conversation - Align on values, expectations, and what success looks like in this role with our CEO Din and COO Jan.
6. Offer & Contract - We make things official.
7. Onboarding - Get set up, meet the team, and start building meaningful things with us.

Steps 1–3 can be completed in 2 days.
The entire process takes approx. 9 days.
