What's the role?

You as a Senior Sales Solutions Architect are a big picture thinker and in-depth problem solver, ready to join our growing team in the EMEA region. With over 5 years of expertise in location technology and excellent English communication skills, you can identify customer challenges and design solutions that address customer requirements using HERE's portfolio and services for the Automotive market.

Working directly with HERE Account Executives, you provide technical consulting with the goal of becoming a trusted advisor to HERE customers and partners. You are part of a Business Solutions Architecture (BSA) team of over 10 specialists in areas such as Automotive, Transport & Logistics (Fleet telematics, Supply Chain Visibility, Tour Planning & Execution, Last Mile, Yard/Warehouse Management), Telecommunications, Insurance (User Base Insurance), Public Sector (GIS, Traffic Management), and Software/Cloud Technologies.

You will primarily work with HERE Automotive customers and HERE Solution Partners in the EMEA region.

Main responsibilities include:

  1. Customer Needs Discovery: Identifying customer challenges through technical discussions and value-selling activities.
  2. Solution Architecture: Mapping customer needs with relevant HERE products and technologies to optimize business outcomes.
  3. Ecosystem Analysis: Including partner and ecosystem analysis when proposing solutions.
  4. Project Management: Defining project and technical steps from discovery to contract closure.
  5. Solution Design: Developing and replicating tailored solutions and conducting effective pre-sales demonstrations of HERE products and technologies.
  6. Technical Expertise: Providing deep technical knowledge for sales opportunities.
  7. Value-Based Selling: Articulating the value proposition, key benefits, and differentiation of HERE solutions in customer proposals.
  8. Customer Relationship Management: Building relationships with key accounts as a trusted technical advisor.
  9. Customer Advocacy: Communicating customer needs, market requirements, and competitive insights to HERE's product and engineering teams.
  10. Industry Awareness: Staying updated on industry and technology trends such as Electric Vehicles, Generative AI, and Machine Learning.
  11. Travel: Up to 5% as required.

Who are you?

You possess a rare combination of deep technical knowledge along with excellent sales and presentation skills. You enjoy engaging directly with customers to secure deals discovered by the sales team.

Ideal background:

  • Master's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Management Information Systems preferred.
  • Over 5 years of experience in solutioning and consulting within B2B software sales, professional services, system integrators, or customer organizations.
  • Mandatory OEM or Tier-1 experience, preferably with Map data and Location-Based Services.
  • Experience with automotive and transport management systems, fleet telematics, supply chain visibility, and last mile solutions.
  • Experience with location technologies such as navigation, ADAS, Autonomous Driving, Software Defined Vehicles, mapping, tracking, EV routing, and GIS.
  • Knowledge of vehicle E/E architectures and connected vehicle ecosystems.
  • Proven ability to identify customer challenges, deliver tailored solutions, and respond to RFQs/RFIs.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Customer-centric and solution-oriented mindset.
  • Ability to work effectively in distributed teams across multiple disciplines.
