Senior Sales Manager (f/m/d) Hydromet Hardware/Instrumentation Solutions (DACH)

How you can contribute:
  • Lead sales for HydroMet hardware solutions across the DACH region, with a focus on strategic growth and customer success
  • Develop and implement go-to-market activities for existing and new software solutions in both established and emerging segments
  • Manage key customer relationships through Key Account Management and regular on-site business development visits
  • Drive proactive new customer acquisition with a clear focus on outcomes (“Hunter mentality”)
  • Oversee and manage tender processes in the environmental sector
  • Deliver structured, transparent CRM data and participate in monthly sales review meetings
  • Represent KISTERS at trade fairs, conferences, and webinars, and actively build a strong network in the environmental monitoring community
  • Provide valuable customer feedback (VOC) to marketing and product development teams

Your Profile:

  • A Master’s degree in Hydrology, Meteorology, or Civil/Environmental Engineering, Electrical Engineering or Measurement and Sensor Technology
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in sales, consulting, or account management in the HydroMet or environmental monitoring market
  • Solid technical background in HydroMet instrumentation/Hardware; experience in environmental data management/analysis is a plus
  • Proven track record in achieving sales targets and managing long sales cycles independently
  • Experience handling public or private environmental tender business
  • A relevant professional network in the HydroMet or environmental technology sector
  • Native-level fluency in German and excellent command of English (spoken and written). French is a Plus.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Strong analytical mindset to balance effort and expected return; prioritization and time management are essential
  • Proficient in MS Office and experienced with CRM/ERP systems
  • Willingness to travel up to 60%
