Join our talented deugro team as we seek a Senior Project Manager (m/f/d) in Hanau, Germany.

Key responsibilities:

1. Personnel responsibility for the assigned project team
2. Project management including implementation, controlling, escalation, and lessons learned communication throughout the project lifecycle
3. Team development via suitable project assignments
4. Collaborate proactively with Operations to ensure understanding and smooth execution of contractual requirements
5. End-to-end order processing from customer order to file closure, including invoicing
6. Lead and contribute to strategic tender activities in coordination with branch management and stakeholders
7. Lead project negotiations and clarification meetings
8. Business and financial controlling for the department and projects
9. Customer care and support for domestic and international clients, including new business generation and offer follow-up
10. Establish and maintain efficient processes and support IT infrastructure setup and SOP implementation
11. Ensure quality across processes and workflows, supporting strategic goals
12. Coordinate with other deugro offices and departments

Skills, knowledge, and expertise:

1. Completed training or studies in freight forwarding
2. Minimum 8 years' experience in project cargo freight forwarding, including breakbulk, heavy lift, ocean chartering, contracts, and project management
3. Strong industry contacts and global network
4. Team player with a hands-on mentality
5. Enjoy working in a diverse, dynamic environment
6. Excellent German and English skills, written and verbal
7. Willingness to travel nationally and internationally (10-25%)
