We are looking for a Senior Project Manager (f/m/d).
Responsibilities
- Lead complex, multidisciplinary deep tech R&D projects or small programs, with ownership of scope, schedule, budget, and quality
- Set up and run project governance, including planning, milestones, phase gates, reporting, risk and issue management across the full R&D lifecycle
- Coordinate cross functional teams such as physics, electronics, software, optics, supply chain, and quality, managing dependencies between workstreams
- Drive stakeholder decision making, resolve conflicts, and ensure alignment with product and technology roadmaps
- Prepare and deliver clear project status reports and decision templates for executive management and, where relevant, customers or partners
Required skills
- 7+ years of proven experience delivering complex technical or R&D projects end to end in industrial or research environments
- Strong project management expertise in technical or R&D environments, covering planning, risk and change management, resource and budget control, and multiproject delivery
- Technical background in a relevant STEM field, with the ability to understand, question, and translate deep tech concepts such as quantum, semiconductors, or advanced algorithms
- Proficiency in established project management approaches, including Agile, hybrid, and V‑model or phase‑gate, along with tools for planning, tracking, requirements, and configuration management
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with experience presenting complex technical topics clearly to senior and executive leadership
