We are supporting a leading general contractor based in Düsseldorf in the appointment of an experienced project professional to support the delivery of complex construction works. This role plays a key part in coordinating teams, driving compliance, and ensuring high-quality project execution across all phases.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead weekly internal, design, and client coordination meetings, ensuring actions are captured, tracked, and closed out efficiently.
- Contribute to EHS, QA, and daily planning meetings to support effective project delivery.
- Develop, implement, and review project audit plans, clearly communicating findings and driving timely close-out.
- Ensure full compliance with company procedures, technical specifications, and documentation requirements.
- Communicate EHS alerts and promote workforce engagement in safety initiatives and campaigns.
- Champion a strong QEHS culture with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams.
- Oversee procurement planning and the timely delivery of engineering and construction packages.
- Review material take-offs and ensure subcontractor pricing aligns with project scope and budgets.
- Monitor workmanship quality and drive continuous improvement across all site activities.
- Attend client meetings, provide project updates, and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Proactively highlight and address any required changes to client processes or approaches.
- Lead, guide, and support project team members, setting clear expectations and measurable KPIs.
- Ensure appropriate training and competency development for both internal teams and subcontractors.
- Review weekly progress with the project planner and issue accurate project status reports.
- Implement look-ahead planning to coordinate subcontractors and maintain programme performance.
- Carry out regular safety walks and audits while maintaining effective and transparent client communication.
Essential Criteria
- Engineering degree or recognised trade qualification.
- 10 years’ experience managing large-scale construction projects within a general contractor environment.
- Strong technical understanding of mechanical and electrical packages.
- Proven leadership, delegation, and communication skills.
- High level of IT proficiency.
- Ability to work independently and adapt to changing project requirements.
