Our client is a leading renewable energy investor and developer with a strong presence in Europe. They focus on the acquisition, financing, and management of renewable energy assets. As they expand their portfolio, they are seeking a Project Finance & M&A Analyst to join their team in Frankfurt.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain complex financial models to assess opportunities in renewable energy projects, including M&A and project finance transactions.
• Support the execution of acquisitions by conducting due diligence, preparing investment memos, and assisting with negotiations.
• Assist in structuring and executing financing strategies, working closely with banks, investors, and internal stakeholders.
• Conduct market research, financial analysis, and due diligence to identify risks and opportunities in potential investments.
• Work closely with legal, technical, and commercial teams to ensure smooth transaction execution.
• Engage with senior management, external advisors, and institutional investors to support investment decisions.

Your profile

• A bachelor’s or master’s degree in finance, economics, business, or a related field.
• Experience in project finance, investment banking, M&A, private equity, or a related field—ideally within renewables, infrastructure, or energy but can be others.
• Strong proficiency in financial modelling, valuation techniques, and investment analysis.
• Fluent in German and English, both written and spoken.
