Your mission

deskbird is on a mission to become the worlds leading workplace experience & operations platform. We are looking for an ambitious and talented Senior Product Designer who shares our passion for bringing this vision to life. Youll take ownership of end-to-end product design turning complex challenges into intuitive delightful experiences. In this role you will

• Join forces with a dynamic team of 4 designers, product managers and developers to create cutting‑edge solutions to increase the workplace experience of our global user base
• Design for the core of the deskbird product - booking & scheduling - for both mobile and responsive web environments
• Design solutions end‑to‑end by conducting user research (qualitative and quantitative), prototyping, handling information architecture, facilitating workshops, collaborating with developers and PMs and ensuring stellar design quality
• Actively contribute to our Design System in close collaboration with other designers and frontend developers
• Work in a fast‑paced and highly collaborative remote environment

What you need to be successful

• Must be located in the EU or UK
• At least 4-5 years of experience designing products for iOS, Android and responsive web applications ideally in a B2B environment
• A thorough understanding of the design process. You adeptly choose the right activities around research and prototyping to achieve your goals while adapting to tight timelines.
• Ability to create engaging, visually appealing and easy‑to‑understand solutions for even the most complex problems and justify design decisions with data and evidence
• Demonstrated ability to connect design rationale with tangible business objectives
• An outstanding portfolio featuring recent cases for mobile and responsive web design
• Considerable experience in contributing to and advancing design systems
• A track‑record of working closely with product managers and developers during the design process. A deep understanding of technical challenges is a big plus.
• Strong communication skills with fluency in English. German is a big plus (many of our clients are German‑speaking)
