• Modernization of software, processes, and tools, as well as new feature development
• Continuous deployment and operation of services
• Engagement in professional development opportunities, possibly in Java
• Active participation in agile workflows
• Design and enhancement of existing features to meet customer needs
• Protection against recurring external and complex DDos attacks
• Constant optimization of our algorithms
• Involvement in software architecture design and technology selection
• Mentoring of junior team members
• Maintenance of highest quality standards, including code reviews, performance testing, system monitoring, etc.

YOUR PROFILE:

• Degree in computer science or related field, or equivalent qualifications
• Enthusiasm for new technologies and eagerness to work with our existing tech stack
• Multiple years of experience in PHP backend development
• Familiarity with frameworks such as Symfony
• A plus: DevOps skills, knowledge of microservice architectures, Docker / Kubernetes
• Team-oriented, responsible, pragmatic, curious, and willing to learn
• Fluent in English and German is a plus
