Given the ongoing development of AIS, we are currently recruiting :

Senior Officer - Corporate Governance
Your role
  • Assist the Management Committee, other internal entities and senior leadership team with meeting preparation, agenda coordination, and minute-taking.
  • Assist the Director – Governance Lead and General Secretary in preparing for Board of Directors’ meetings.
  • Prepare and distribute board packs in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Monitor and follow-up on decisions and action points arising from Board and Management Committee meetings, ensuring timely execution.
  • Help ensure compliance with internal governance policies and procedures across the organization.
  • Maintain and update internal governance documents, such as policies, procedures, and guidelines.
  • Support the implementation of internal controls and governance processes.
  • Comply with governance best practices.
  • Assist in internal reviews, audits, and reporting on governance matters.
  • Provide operational support to transversal governance initiatives and projects led by the Director – Governance Lead and General Secretary.
  • Collaborate with teams like Legal, Compliance, Risk, and HR to ensure consistent governance practices.
  • Ensure high levels of confidentiality, accuracy and professionalism in all governance processes.
Your profile
  • A academic degree in law, economics or business administration.
  • You have a minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a similar governance, company secretarial, or paralegal role (preferably in a regulated entity).
  • Fluent in English and French; a ny other language would be considered as an asset.
  • Good knowledge of corporate law, regulatory frameworks, and governance principles.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills, with attention to detail.
  • Strong drafting and communication skills.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
  • Experience in board support and stakeholder management.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to provide sound governance advice.
