Your focus will be on:

• Leading independent data protection and IT security projects in the public sector
• Conducting risk analyses and data protection impact assessments, and creating data protection concepts, documentation, and process descriptions
• Managing project teams and coordinating closely with stakeholders at the ministerial level
• Coaching and developing junior consultants in the field of data protection and IT security (on- and off-the-project)
• Contributing to the expansion of our portfolio and the creation of offers and presentations in the field of data protection and IT security

To be successful in this role, you should have:

• A successfully completed degree in business informatics, computer science, administrative informatics, administrative sciences, law, or public policy/public administration, ideally with an IT focus
• Solid knowledge of data protection and IT security (DSGVO, BDSG, BSI IT-Grundschutz, ideally ISO 27001), including relevant practical experience and a strong interest in security and digitalization topics in the public sector
• Several years of consulting or implementation experience in data protection and security consulting for public clients in federal and state administrations or in comparable roles within the administration
• Project-related travel willingness and negotiation-secure German and English language skills
