(Senior) Legal Counsel (m/f/d) DE-BY-Nuremberg-NUR0000OL
Your tasks:
- Advising and proactively supporting the LEONI Group's global business divisions and facilities in legal matters relating to national and international corporate law (including - if legal knowledge is available - antitrust law)
- Comprehensive corporate law advice to the Group Board of Directors and the management of the LEONI Group as well as preparation of decision papers for the management, Board of Directors and Supervisory Board
- Close cooperation with internal Group departments such as Tax, Controlling, Finance and HR on global corporate law projects (and - if available - M&A activities)
- Main legal contact for the national and international subsidiaries, in the context of varied corporate law measures and in relation to corporate housekeeping
- Drafting, review, evaluation and negotiation of contracts and legal documents in German and English as well as review, evaluation, enforcement and defence of legal claims
- Legal analysis and structuring of business transactions to realize business opportunities and to avoid and minimize risks and damages
- Independently managing complex and interdisciplinary projects in Germany and abroad
Your skills:
- Successful completion of the law degree program and the 2nd state examination, preferably with an honors degree. Admission as an (in-house) lawyer desirable
- Several years of relevant professional experience with commercial law activities in an (international) law firm or in a (corporate) legal department
- High level of understanding of economic and technical contexts
- Very good project management skills as well as independent, precise, solution-oriented and structured work
- "Out of the box" thinking, hands-on mentality and commitment as well as the ability to work in a team, flexibility and strong communication skills
- Excellent written and spoken German and English, additional foreign language skills an advantage
