We are a full‑time position designed for a senior partner in a rapidly growing investment funds practice.

Brouxel & Rabia Luxembourg Law Firm (B&R) is an independent business law firm that combines the expertise of a top firm with the proximity of a mid‑size firm. The firm assists national and international clients (multinationals, private equity houses, banks, insurance companies, high net worth individuals, asset and wealth managers) in Real Estate, Investment Funds, Corporate Law, M&A, Private Equity, Tax, Banking, Finance and Regulatory matters.

Role

As a Senior Investment Fund Lawyer you will support clients through the entire life cycle of their fund projects, from structuring and operation to transformation and liquidation. You will also advise on legal and compliance issues, draft and negotiate documentation, manage regulatory approvals and conduct business development activities.

Responsibilities

• Structure, operate, transform and liquidate regulated and unregulated investment funds, focusing on alternative investment funds and their managers (AIFMs).
• Maintain day‑to‑day client contact and organize meetings and conference calls.
• Advisory on fund structure and drafting/reviewing of fund documentation, including negotiation of agreements and issuing constitutional documents.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and follow up with the CSSF to obtain approvals.
• Guide and mentor younger associates, organizing their work and facilitating knowledge sharing.
• Prepare fee proposals, monitor budgets and oversee billing.
• Participate in business development and visibility activities, taking part in roadshows, conferences, clients’ trainings and writing regulatory articles.

Experience and Skills

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in an Investment Funds department of a recognized law firm.
• Excellent knowledge of alternative investment funds regulatory requirements.
• Ability to understand complex fund structures and solve problems.
• Excellent communication, drafting and analytical skills in English and French.
• Team spirit, proactive, reliable, well organized and flexible.
• Strong independent working capability.

Qualifications

• Admitted to the Luxembourg Bar or another EU Bar.
• LL.M, MAS or J.D. degree.
• Fluent in French and English; knowledge of Italian or German is an asset.
