Varied tasks in a team where you quickly take on a key role in the entire investment process, identify investment opportunities, conduct negotiations, and always keep an eye on optimizing our internal processes – in close cooperation with other departments.

Responsibilities

• You lead deal teams for transactions of onshore wind and PV projects as well as battery storage systems (BESS) in Europe from deal sourcing to closing
• You are responsible for comprehensive due diligence processes with internal experts and external consultants
• You are responsible for the financial modeling of wind and solar parks
• You conduct commercial and contract negotiations (purchase agreements, general contractor agreements, project development agreements, operational management agreements, full maintenance agreements, etc.)
• During transactions you manage project financings and power purchase agreements (PPAs) together with internal specialist departments
• You present transactions and investment recommendations to the investment team, senior management and the supervisory board
• As Team Lead Transactions, you also manage a team of approximately 5-7 investment professionals who independently manage transactions in the areas of onshore wind, PV, and BESS as deal captains
• In your role as Team Lead, you are responsible for the professional and personal development of your team members and support them in their transactions, ensuring that all transactions meet risk-return requirements
• Together with the other team leaders and the investment management team, you ensure the continuous development of the entire investment area and make a noticeable contribution to achieving our goals

Qualifications

• You have completed a degree in business administration or industrial engineering, ideally supplemented by an additional qualification (MBA or CFA)
• You have at least 7 years of extensive transaction experience in the wind, PV, and BESS sectors
• You have a comprehensive network in the field of renewable energies in Europe and want to actively use it to realize transactions
• You have very strong skills and experience in financial modeling of cash flow-based investments
• Your strong communication skills, self-motivation, and flexibility are what set you apart
• You may have initial leadership experience and are experienced in managing demanding teams of professionals working on highly complex tasks
• You are a highly responsible and fully committed employee
• You speak fluent German and English
• You have advanced knowledge in one of the following additional languages : Italian, Spanish, Danish, or Dutch
• You are willing to travel occasionally for your work
