Join our dynamic advisory team as an IT Strategy Sourcing and Benchmarking Specialist, where you'll play a pivotal role in shaping the future of client sourcing initiatives! This position isn't just a job; it's an opportunity to make a significant impact by delivering world-class drive strategic assessments, supplier selections, contract negotiations, and change management.

Typically, the advice we provide can be categorised as:

• Market Assessment (e.g. market, policy or technology trends, market capability and capacity)
• Business Strategy (e.g. vision, objectives, strategic options, financial sustainability)
• Operating Strategy (e.g. IT operating model design, governance and structures, incentives)
• Market Making (e.g. complex business cases, market engagement, IT sourcing, procurement strategy)

What You'll Do:

• Empower Decision-Making: Dive deep into our clients' environments, gathering essential information and utilizing advanced frameworks to create impactful assessment materials. Your insights will guide key business decisions.
• Work on client engagements from intake to execution, conducting discovery sessions, analysing data, applying research-backed methodologies and delivering strategic recommendations.
• Lead Technical & Financial Assessments: Take charge of initial evaluations, project plans, vendor research, financial modelling, and crafting RFPs. Your expertise will be instrumental in selecting the best partners for our clients and navigating complex contract negotiations.
• Consult and Collaborate: Provide valuable consultation to both clients and suppliers on outsourcing, project management, financial modelling, and negotiation strategies. Your leadership in these areas will enhance relationships and drive success.
• Adapt Data to Excellence: Transform client data into world-class model templates, ensuring alignment with industry best practices. Your attention to detail will help create compelling financial base cases and business strategies.

What We Seek:

• Candidates with consulting experience, particularly in strategic domains like Benchmarking, Sourcing, IT Strategic decision making (advisory), Procurement, Customer Relationship Management, and Cloud Solutions.
• Consulting experience ideally with a top 30 management consulting firm
• Professionals experienced in building efficient operational service delivery organizations, performance assessments, and transformation management.
• Individuals ready to engage in a fast-paced environment where innovation meets strategy.

Excellent academic results

• University degree or equivalent experience within:
• Informatics
• Science based Engineering Physics, Chemical etc
• Mathematics based
• Double degrees and Postgraduate degrees are highly regarded in our firm

At least 8-7 years of consulting experience where you have also lead performance improvement. Or alternatively at least 10 years of experience in senior operation roles.
