Looking for an exciting opportunity to lead the design, construction, and operation of the data center at our Dresden site? Join our global team at Infineon and play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our data centers worldwide. As a Engineer Data Center, you will spearhead initiatives to enhance energy efficiency and integrate renewable energy, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with customer needs and a positive customer experience. This role offers the chance to analyze statistical data for operational efficiency improvements and the potential to manage corporate-scale data centers, with opportunities to develop best-practice reports and leverage programming skills. Fluency in English and German would be a valuable asset as well.

In your new role, you will:

1. Be responsible for the design, building, and operation of the data center at the Dresden site, as well as for designing data centers for Infineon worldwide within a global team.
2. Evaluate possibilities to enhance sustainability initiatives within our data centers, focusing on energy efficiency and renewable energy integration.
3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure sustainability efforts align with customer needs and contribute to a positive customer experience.
4. Support the analysis of statistical data related to operational efficiency to drive continuous improvement.

You will focus your creativity and knowledge on producing results with real added value. You are personally committed to customer concerns and prioritize their needs. Additionally, you are dedicated to the success of your team and the company as a whole.

You are best equipped for this role if you have:

• A degree in Electronic Engineering, Control System Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, or a similar study field.
• 0-1 years of relevant professional experience, ideally managing corporate-scale data centers.
• First experience in developing best-practice reports based on data mining, analysis, and visualization is a plus.
• Programming skills (e.g., .Net) are a plus.
• Understanding of data center facilities is a plus.
• Fluency in English and German is mandatory.
