A leading remote tech startup is seeking a Senior Design Engineer to bridge the gap between design and engineering. This role offers ownership of both product and branding, requiring proficiency in Figma, React, and TypeScript. Successful candidates should have senior-level experience and a robust portfolio in design and front-end development, contributing to cohesive and scalable design systems. Competitive compensation and fully remote work capabilities are provided.
WunderGraph is a fast-growing startup, our goal is to help developers design and deliver better APIs, collaboratively. From interface design to API implementation, we provide the platform to go from sketch to product in a category-defining collaborative experience. Our North Star is to take the friction out of bringing digital ideas to life, making room for your ideas and productivity. If you want to make an impact, have your voice heard, and work in a no‑BS organization where you can get stuff done, look no further and apply today! 🚀
We’re looking for a Senior Design Engineer, someone who lives at the intersection of design and engineering, and thrives on translating ideas into code.
As our first Design Engineer at WunderGraph, you are fluent in both interface design and front‑end development. You can sketch or prototype in Figma, and then bring that same idea to life in React and TypeScript. You care deeply about design quality and UI performance, after all, we are building developer tooling.
You’ll collaborate across design, product, and engineering to define how WunderGraph looks, feels, and works. You’ll contribute to design systems, explore new interaction patterns directly in code, and ensure that everything we ship, from the company site to the product, feels cohesive and crafted.
This role is ideal for someone that wants to have immense ownership over how we build developer tooling internally, and how we present ourselves to the world. You’re curious and pragmatic, you understand that great user experience comes from tight feedback loops between design and implementation.
