Charging needs to be simple and easy to use, therefore we focus on digitized and customer-oriented services. We develop white label public charging solutions for automotive OEMs and fleet operators. These services provide access to multiple networks of Charge Point Operators (CPO) and enable drivers of electric vehicles to find, use and pay for public charging in an easy and seamless way.
Since the beginning of 2019, Digital Charging Solutions GmbH has been part of the mobility joint venture between the BMW Group and Daimler AG. CHARGE NOW is a service of DCS and part of this joint venture, which aims to strengthen sustainable mobility together with FREE NOW.

Our Finance Transformation team is a fundamental element to all revenue and costs optimization and automation topics : Designing long term systems in collaboration with our engineering teams, as well as being hands on providing stop-gap solutions. We build close partnerships with key stakeholders and work closely with senior leadership to drive forward a number of key business projects.
We are currently focused on optimizing the largest gross profit levers of the P&L; Revenue and COGS, where we believe a pragmatic billing & unit economic approach is required :
Bachelor or Master degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field. Master's degree preferred.
Experience in a quantitative or technical role performing quantitative analysis, billing automation, invoice validation automation, pricing or invoice audit systems.
Proven experience in data engineering, software development, or related roles.
Proficiency in programming languages commonly used in data engineering (e.g., Python, KNIME, or similar).
A database querying background (SQL, Google Big Query, Vertica, Snowflake). Strong knowledge of database systems, data modeling techniques, and SQL proficiency.
Proficiency with ETL tools commonly used in data engineering (e.g., DBT, SSIS, Databricks, Azure Data Factory).
Experience with big data technologies and frameworks (e.g., Hadoop, Spark, Kafka, etc.).
Familiarity with cloud platforms and services (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform, etc.).
High attention to detail, proven ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
Excellent quantitative, analytical and communication skills, both written and verbal.
A strong understanding of unit economics, ideally with a background performing cost allocation, financial modelling and partnering with non-financial teams.
