A leading technology company seeks a dedicated professional for a senior role in its Financial Services Practice Group. This position involves building customer trust by communicating SAP's security and compliance measures, assessing regulatory requirements, and supporting governance efforts. The ideal candidate has a background in cybersecurity, a Bachelor's degree, and strong interpersonal skills to liaise effectively with both customers and internal departments. Experience in a sales support role is preferred. Join a motivated team committed to delivering positive outcomes and ensuring security compliance.
We help the world run better
At SAP, we keep it simple: you bring your best to us, and we'll bring out the best in you. We're builders touching over 20 industries and 80% of global commerce, and we need your unique talents to help shape what's next. The work is challenging – but it matters. You'll find a place where you can be yourself, prioritize your wellbeing, and truly belong. What's in it for you? Constant learning, skill growth, great benefits, and a team that wants you to grow and succeed.
In this role, you will be part of the Financial Services (FS) Practice Group within CISA, building and maintaining customer trust in SAP through communicating SAP’s security and compliance approach. The FS Practice Group will act as the Center of Excellence for the interaction with and enablement of the Customer Success organization as well as directly participating in contract discussions on security and compliance topics. It is critical that you are able to interact and drive alignment across multiple internal departments on security compliance topics, including teams from the Customer Success organization (including Cybersecurity Hub), Legal, SAP Global Security & Cloud Compliance (SGSC) as well as leaders from different Lines of Business and Corporate Functions.
Second, you will identify and assess regulatory requirements, advise on how best to implement measures to meet regulatory requirements in the FS industry, and overall to help improve our processes in supporting FS customers. If you identify any FS security and compliance patterns, threats and opportunities, you will provide feedback to internal stakeholders to build security and compliance into SAP solutions and processes.
Third, you will develop and maintain a solid knowledge base in regional security and compliance topics, including financial services industry-specific compliance obligations (e.g. EU DORA), to support customer queries and contract negotiations.
Fourth, you will support the security and compliance governance efforts for the region, including reporting on customer commitments made, on status of identified KPIs; and (where appropriate) highlighting risks to senior management.
This senior role is integral to our team, and we look forward to welcoming a dedicated professional who will support us in building up the Financial Services Practice Group within CISA. CISA sits within the SGSC Customer Office, which is the broader team that “faces” SAP customers and customer-facing teams. We are a team of highly motivated security and compliance professionals that thrive on delivering positive outcomes for SAP. We are uniquely positioned at the crossroads of multiple domains, including customer communications, contract negotiations and security compliance.
If you are a self-starter keen on making a real difference and have the relevant experience and skills, then this is the position for you!
