Your tasks

• Design and deliver data-driven IT projects on Databricks platform
• Hands‑on implementation of Cloud & Data Engineering projects
• Provide best practices support for customers and synvert in Databricks area
• Stay up‑to‑date with the most recent features of Databricks
• Land & Expand : recognise opportunities and risks in the Cloud Data analytics area
• Demonstrate good communication and presentation skills to effectively engage and persuade customers upon initial interaction
• Coaching of practice members, contributing to the success of the Databricks cluster at synvert

What do we expect from you?

4 years of experience in the area of Platform / Data Engineering & consultancy

• Good knowledge and hands‑on experience with Databricks
• Experience with hands‑on implementation of the Cloud / Data Engineering projects
• Excellent programming skills (e.g. Python, Scala, Java; object‑oriented). Any other language considered a plus
• Strong technical skills in emerging data technologies, especially in Databricks
• Expertise in one of the following areas in Databricks : Unity Catalog, Data Warehousing, Performance Optimization
• Bachelor / Master’s degree in Computer Science, Physics, Information Management or in similar qualification
• Certifications in Databricks : e.g. Associate or Professional, or proven record of delivering projects with Databricks
• Openness to occasional travel (up to 30% of the time)
• German, English : fluent in speaking & writing
• Very good presentation and communication skills
