We are currently looking for a Senior Cloud Engineer. In this role, you will work closely with internal stakeholders, and the starting date is as soon as possible at our office in Frankfurt.

Responsibilities

• Design and architecture: create, maintain, and document system architecture for cloud-based solution
• Implementation: deploy, configure, and manage cloud infrastructure
• Automation: implement and manage automation tools for CI/CD, deployment, and infrastructure provisioning ( , Terraform)
• Security: establish and enforce cloud security best practices and policies
• Performance and monitoring: monitor application and system performance, develop automated monitors, and troubleshoot production issues
• Disaster recovery: develop and implement disaster recovery and business continuity plans

Requirements

• Cloud platforms: 3+ years of professional experience in a cloud related role working on an enterprise level with one or more public cloud providers (GCP, AWS, Azure)
• Containerization: experience with Docker and Kubernetes
• Infrastructure as Code (IaC): proficiency with tools like Terraform, Cloud Build
• Scripting and programming: strong skills in languages like Python and Bash
• DevOps: experience with DevOps practices and tools ( , Git, Bitbucket)
• Networking and security: Strong knowledge of networking principles and cloud security
• Soft skills: excellent communication, analytical, troubleshooting, and decision-making skills
• Education: a degree in computer science, engineering, or related fields
