We are looking for a Senior Behavioral Scientist Specialist with hands‑on experience applying behavioral science in a digital B2C environment. This includes psychological and behavioral science principles to help ZEAL build effective products and experiences. Embedded within the User Research team, this role acts as an independent, strategic advisor to Product, UX, Marketing, and Research, translating behavioral insights into actionable recommendations that improve decision‑making, customer experience, and long‑term engagement. The role combines scientific rigor with practical business understanding to bridge theory and execution across ZEAL’s ecosystem.
Your tasks:
Advisory & Strategy
- Acting as an expert advisor to Product, UX, and Marketing on how behavioral science can inform product design, communication, and customer journeys.
- Translating psychological constructs — such as loss aversion, social proof, choice overload, commitment devices, temporal discounting, and cognitive load — into practical recommendations.
- Partnering with Product Management to evaluate emerging behavioral and eCommerce trends and their strategic relevance for ZEAL.
- Contributing to product innovation by applying behavioral understanding to uncover unmet needs, new user motivations, and opportunity spaces.
Application & Enablement
- Supporting UX teams in applying behavioral principles to user flows and interaction design to reduce friction and enhance conversion and experience.
- Collaborating on JTBD‑driven frameworks to uncover the psychological layers behind customer needs, supporting better product iteration and innovation.
- Conducting enablement sessions, sharing best practices, and promoting internal understanding of behavioral science across departments.
Research & Evaluation
- Translating academic and industry research into clear, actionable insights tailored to ZEAL’s context.
- Leading or coordinating behavioral research projects with internal teams or external partners to test and validate interventions.
- Maintaining accountability for methodological quality, relevance, and responsible use of behavioral insights.

Proven experience applying behavioral insights in eCommerce, UX,Yang or digital product environments.
- Strong analytical and conceptual skills to evaluate behavioral mechanisms, interpret data, and synthesize insights into actionable strategies.
- Experience in both qualitative and quantitative research methods, including the ability to design, analyze, and interpret behavioral studies.
- Familiarity with frameworks such as JTBD and motivational models to connect psychological drivers with customer behavior and product design.
- Acting as a cross‑functional partner within ZEAL’s product, design, marketing, and research ecosystem.
- Communicating complex psychological concepts in clear, accessible language tailored to business stakeholders.
- Advanced degree in psychology, behavioral science, or related field.
- Proven ability to collaborate effectively in multidisciplinary teams and drive strategic outcomes through evidence‑based advice.
