Job Description:

The Sales Specialist - Zerto is responsible for leading pursuits, collaborating with Account Managers, and providing expert knowledge within the sales team. You will drive campaigns to build pipelines, prospect, qualify, negotiate, and close opportunities. You will exercise independent judgment within established practices, evaluate circumstances, and make recommendations.

You will leverage your expertise in Data Protection and Cyber Resiliency solutions, using HPE’s storage portfolio and partners. Your role includes hunting for new opportunities, generating customer interest, and building relationships with channels and end-users.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Prospect new opportunities and develop existing accounts.
  • Manage and coordinate sales activities.
  • Build and drive sales pipeline to closure using internal tools.
  • Execute pursuit plans appropriately.
  • Expand solutions to increase revenue through upselling and attachments.
  • Transfer knowledge to reduce client learning curve.
  • Coordinate sales activities with stakeholders.
  • Use internal tools to maintain pipeline and account plans.
  • Collaborate with teams on account planning.
  • Build consultative relationships with clients, understanding their business needs.
  • Engage with partners to develop solutions and facilitate co-selling.
  • Coordinate marketing campaigns for storage solutions.
  • Support deal closure with internal stakeholders and partners.

About You:

  • Proven achievement with higher quotas and experience with diverse business customers.
  • 5-7+ years of sales experience.
  • Expertise in assessing solution feasibility from technical and business perspectives.
  • Hunter mentality focused on new business development.
  • Knowledge of digital sales methods and industry trends.
  • Ability to engage effectively with partners and map opportunities.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, including for C-suite audiences.
  • Positive, approachable demeanor and adaptability to changing requirements.
