The position as Sales Leader in Germany is a key role for the companies continued growth and reorganization of its brands and integration of an acquisition that has been made recently. We are looking for a visionary Sales Leader to do the groundwork and take the team to the next level.

The Sales Leader is a person that will develop the sales department, build processes and train & lead a sales team in Frankfurt, Munich and Berlin and will be responsible for leading the total PNL. The ideal candidate should have the capacity to sell complex projects on technologies such as SAS/Data Science, AI/Analytics, BI/Data, Platforms and Customer Analytics.

The mission of the Sales Leader is to inspire and push the team of business managers towards the overall budget and goals of the company.

This is a pure Sales Leader role that will take charge of forming the sales department with the main goal of acquiring new clients, strengthening relationships with existing clients and selling the benefits of services under one umbrella.

The Sales Leader reports to the country manager and will have 2 direct Senior Business Managers and about 4-6 regional business managers (including 2-3 junior business managers) so he/she will be managing a team of 6-8 people.

Profile, Experience & Qualifications
  • 6 -10 Years experience selling projects and people
  • Must have serious knowledge and experience within the German market
  • Previous management experience
  • Sales operations experience & knowledge of track sales process
  • IT / Tech industry background with experience in high paced culture and entrepreneurial mindset
  • Knowledge of Germany’s main competitors in the same industry and commercial activity
  • Speaks German and English (preferably additional language French)
  • BA or Master degree or equivalent education
Skills and abilities
  • Develop relationships with existing clients, onboard new clients to build strong long lasting relationships
  • Ready to push sales, manage and lead and support the team of business managers successfully
  • PNL 30 - 35 million euro
  • Sell the hiring company’s combined services to clients by cross branding and cross selling
  • A positive thinking mindset and be solution oriented

  • Takes initiative, leads by example with a combination of hunter personality and to find new clients and farmer qualifications to manage and support the team
  • Holds a genuine passion for initiating conversations and build new relationships
