The team is hiring an RF Engineer to contribute to the design, implementation, and support of RF communication systems. Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and test RF systems and subsystems for satellite communication applications, including large antenna systems and associated equipment
• Define and validate RF requirements in collaboration with system, hardware, and software teams
• Conduct integration, commissioning, and troubleshooting both in the lab and on-site
• Perform and support Factory and Site Acceptance Tests (FAT & SAT) for RF systems
• Liaise with customers, project managers, and vendors to ensure smooth project delivery
• Create technical documentation including specifications, test plans, and reports
• Stay ahead of emerging RF and satellite communication technologies

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical, Communications, or RF Engineering (or equivalent)
• Significant RF engineering experience, ideally within SatCom or ground station environments
• Strong knowledge of RF system design, measurement techniques, and signal propagation
• Experience with RF test equipment (spectrum/network analysers, signal generators)
• Able to work independently and as part of a multi-disciplinary team
• Willingness to travel internationally for project delivery and customer support
• Must be a citizen of a NATO country
• Excellent English skills; German is a bonus

Location

• Primarily remote within a NATO country, with occasional travel to Backnang, Germany and international client sites

Salary

• Up to €80,000 depending on experience
