Job summary

Montblanc is seeking a Retail Controller (m/f/d) at our Hamburg Headquarters, starting 1 January 2027. The role focuses on acting as a trusted business partner for retail-controlling topics, guiding investment decisions for boutiques, and delivering quarterly financial insights to executives.

Responsibilities

• Act as a trusted business partner for all retail-related controlling topics.
• Steer the investment process for retail and wholesale boutiques; evaluate business plans and provide strategic recommendations to CFO/CEO.
• Drive financial excellence, consolidate reporting, and deliver benchmark analyses of global retail network performance.
• Lead quarterly performance reviews and present high-impact insights to the Executive Committee.
• Shape financial planning, data collection, and analysis for latest estimates and budget processes.
• Serve as a Key User in SAP BW and BPS/BCS (SEM) and contribute to reporting systems.

• by acting as a trusted business partner for all retail-related controlling topics across the organization
• by steering the investment process for retail and wholesale boutiques, evaluating business plans, and providing strategic recommendations to the CFO and CEO
• by driving financial excellence, consolidating periodic reporting, and delivering benchmark analyses across our global retail network to evaluate boutique performance and profitability
• by leading quarterly performance reviews and presenting high-impact financial insights directly to the Executive Committee
• by shaping financial planning, taking charge of data collection and in-depth analysis for Latest Estimate and Budget processes
• by serving as a Key User in SAP BW and BPS/BCS (SEM), optimizing query designs and contributing to state-of-the-art reporting systems

You’ll have…

• an above-average Bachelor’s and Master’s degree.
• previous experience in the luxury industry (a plus).
• proficiency in MS Office (esp. Excel & PowerPoint) and solid experience with SAP BW.
• strong analytical capabilities and a structured, result-orientated mindset.
• a collaborative team spirit with the ability to work independently.
• excellent communication skills in German as well as bilingual fluency in English
